Join us for a special event as we come together to honor a friend and dedicated advocate, in whose honor we are raising funds to establish the “Maxine Roy Richman Fund To Reduce Poverty” at the Rhode Island Foundation. This fund will be used to support anti-poverty initiatives in our state.

On this night, her admiring colleagues, friends, and family, will join in testifying to her decades of advocating for social justice and eliminating poverty, which includes helping to found the Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty in 2008. Since then, the coalition has continued to unite and mobilize the faith community to fight poverty in Rhode Island.
